Dearbhla is a Research and Evaluation officer in the Research and Innovation Unit of Sport Ireland. Originally from Mayo in the west of Ireland, her work involves leading on, developing and implementing a systematic approach to researching and evaluating a range of sport and physical activity participation initiatives.
She has an MSc. in Coastal and Marine Environments and specialised her research in climate change adaptation and sustainability policy development and measuring policy impact.
In her current role, she has worked on upscaling Sport Irelands Systemic Evaluation system and has led on a number of large-scale project evaluations including: Evaluation of Sport Ireland Active Cities, Evaluation of Sport Irelands Innovation for Sport Inclusion Fund and Evaluation of Sport Irelands Social Inclusion Disability Programme Fund.

Elias Mastoras is the current IBSA Blind Football Chairperson 2021-2025, responsible for the only paralympic football in Paris 2024 & LA28. He is the founder of Youthorama NGO which received the 1st place at EU “Be Inclusive” Awards in May 2022 for the “A ball for all” campaign in the category of “Inspiring Change”; Winner of the EU Be Active Sports Awards 2022 as the “Local Hero”. He is also the winner of the Tallberg Foundation – Stavros Niarhos Foundation “Global Emerging Leader” 2022 among 2400 applicants from 132 countries.
He is an adults' educator and a youth trainer in the E + Youth National Agencies of Greece and Cyprus and SALT0 Inclusion – Diversity “Mobility Taster” based in Brussels. He was a Rio 2016 Referee Coordinator and World Referee Coordinator 2013-2017, and a Referee of Gold Medal Match in Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008. He patented the unique light sound ball, which is available only for donation.
In the first five years of the #ABallforAll campaign, more than 12.500 mini blind footballs have been distributed in 213 countries and territories on 5 continents. He is a FIDE Chess Trainer and a FIDE Master as a chess player; He has been running the “Say Chess” Academy in Panorama since 1999. He was the national coach of the Greek Blind delegation in the Chess Olympiad in Brazil, 1996. Emma is a double Olympic Bronze medallist in Ice Hockey (1998 and 2010. Emma was elected by athletes to the IOC Athletes’ Commission at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 and elected as Chair of the Commission at the Beijing Games 2022. Emma has a BBA in Finance from The Ohio State University and a MSc in Economics Finance from Aalto University (2013). Emma represents athlete voice in the IOC Executive Board and a number of IOC Commissions such as the Olympic Programme Commission, and the Legal Affairs Commission. Emma is also the former Chair of the Finnish Athletes’ Commissions and a member of Finnish Advisory Board of Sport Ethics. By living and playing in many countries like Austria, Finland, USA and Russia and by competing in five Olympics, Emma has a vast athletic experience and is passionate about representing athletes in decision making at the highest level.
